I've had it past 155 on the freeway, and I know it would still go faster.

With the top down I've been 140+ many of times, with the top up 150+ a few times. I used to have a crotch rocket that I used to get up in the 160s. I'm kind of a speed freak though.

Does the "of the force of nature" mean "you will **** yourself"?

I burried my old cars spedo with the top down. It only had boltons. I was racing a viper. I would do it again in a heartbeat! What a rush!

Top down over 150, M6. In an auto you'll likely have to manually keep it in drive to get much over 130, because stock it doesn't pull too well in overdrive.

174 top down stock C5. When I get the Pfadt system and new tires I'll try to record it to verify. Then again, I probably won't have a stock C5 anymore, so 180 might be on it's way.

I got up to 155 and still accelerating (top up) cruising through the mountains of Arizona on a drive across the country with a full car. I recorded it on my cell phone. In hindsight, I realize it was probably not my most brilliant endeavor. Many more to come no doubt...
