I was wanting to know where would be the best place to buy a top for my 95 camaro? The top isn't in the bad of shape but by the back has came apart from the glass is there any way to fix this or am i better off just buying a new one? Thanks John i can get pics if anyone would like to see this.

The window seperation issue has come up in the past, try a search, you will find plenty of info, some have had success with regluing too.

I used super strength double stick tape for indoor/outdoor applications. So far it is holding up well for several months. Others have used windshield urethane.

These won't work as well, nor look as good, as replacement, but can extend the length of time before you HAVE to replace the top. Done carefully, you can get decent results with repairs.

Sorry, I have been in Utah for a week but now I am back. For the guys with cloth tops you want StayFast tops, it is a material, not a brand. Anyone that sells the original stayfast for oem specs is who you want to buy from. I found one Ebay store that sells these tops in all of the oem colors of cloth and they also sell the vinyl tops if you want one, plus all hardware for your vert if anything needs replaced. Anymore questions please let me know Oh and installing a top is a pain in the *** so even though its spendy...take it to a pro, lol, you will thank me for not spending days putting on a top and many hours trying to get it right. Heres the link for the tops: http://stores.ebay.com/Autotops-Net-...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

Im actually in Colorado for a few months. Installs are usually ridiculously expensive. The average price I have seen is around $700. You can do it yourself. It just takes alot of time and making sure everything is lined up....and a few buddies to help is suggested.

Hey Dustin do you have a write up or know where there is some installation directions? I know a lot of us are foaming at the mouth for an install write up.

I dont but I could easily walk someone through it. Once you start taking the old one off you can easily see how the new one must go back on. I would give it a shot if you have plenty of patience and beer. I wont discourage anyonr from doing there own, just take your time. You will need a bottle of DAP contact cement, staple gun...i forget the size staples so pull one out and you can buy the size you need to match. A steamer helps if you have one or can get one. It will relax the top so you can better stretch it and make it tight so when it cools it will be a very tight fit and look great.

I found a guy in Slidell that will install a vert top for around $500 for our cars, you supply the top or he will quote that too, pm for his number, he has been in the custom upholstery business for over 25 years...
