Vert problems

bought a 97 t/a vert with inoperable top - no action or sound when top button is pushed - works ok manually - any ideas where to start??????

The pump in the trunk? . . . left hand side, under a little trap door in the carpet.

If no sound when button is pushed, could be either bad pump motor, blown fuse, bad switch, or bad wiring / connection. Check the fuse first. If not that, disconnect wire harness at motor and check for voltage in both directions (while someone presses switch up/down). If you have power there, then the motor is likely bad. If no power, then the switch is next place to look.

Thanks..... any thoughts on best place to buy a replacement motor ?

try checking the little black **** on top of the pump. if you turn that **** you can either have it as a power top or a manual top. if that doesn't work, the motor is probably bad.

try this to

three years ago mine slowed down then just stopped working because it was low on fluid i refilled the reservoir and bled it out i have had no problems since
