back seats

Default back seats

i want 2 take my back seats out. how do i do it? i have a 99 ws6 convertable.

Grab a13 mm socket and right below the seat cushion in the center of the seat there is one bolt remove it and out comes your rear seat.

If your taking out the seat backs then you can get to these bolts once the bottom cushions are out.

i got the seats out now what do i do about the seat belts. the annoying little mounts have a plastic screw thing and where do i go from here?







this little black plastic screw thing has me confused

i stuck my side cutters and cut the pieces really short, then the popped off really easy

yeah they are those little things that you have to push in...

i just stick some side cutters in and clipped them really short, then they just popped right out.

then you will have to pull the carpet up and get the bolts that hold the seatbelt holder on to it. you can feel everything with your hand. there are 4 bolts on each one i think

got them off and the plastic thing over the metal thing that holds the seat belt. now i cut through the carpet and exposed 2 bolts, i got 1 off and i cant get the other off. the bolt isnt striped but it wont budge.

so its this thing i want off



and its this bolt that wont budge at all!



i dont know what 2 do and i dont want 2 strip the screw!

there are bolts to the right and left of it too, if you look carefully you dont have to cut any carpet. it will just lift up and over the seat belt and you can get to all the bolts. spray some lubricant **** on it.

i was thinking just getting the same color gray rug and just sticking it over it. like a long piece that would cover most of the seat and over the gas tank ( i think thats the gas tank)
