Default Convertible Top Preserver?

My convertible top is only about 2Yrs. old. I have a cloth top and would like to keep it in good shape. I live in a very hot and dry climate, temperatures get over a 100.
Im not worried about keeping it clean thats what the car wash is for. I W/ like to keep it moisturized so it doesnt dry out. Ive looked at a few products including Armorall and its only for vinyl & plastic.
Any other suggestions?

google raggtopp and see if there are any suppliers for it. Raggtopp makes the best kit out there for cloth tops, it comes with both a cleaner and protectant cant beat it.

JC Whitney has the best RAGGTOPP price and fair shipping. About $26 to your doorstep. I ordered two cans a few weeks ago. I use it on a Z3 roadster I have as well. Incredible stuff!!!

My girlfriends Firebird is a cloth convertible. Which one from jcwhitney do you guys recommend? The spray cleaner/protectant or the can spray stuff??

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/S...1&sku=RAGGTOPP

Also how do you guys apply it? Just spray it on, or rub it in with rag or something?? Thanks

The protectant just sprays on. A few coats is well worth the effort for maximum results. WARNING!! Cover your glass and paint before applying. It will come off without damage but it is some extra work and you don't need the aggravation. Personally, I open the 'vert top and place large rags over the windshield and side glass and then put the top down right on top of the overlapping rags. The rear window and trunk lid are a little tougher to cover but it isn't too bad. Spray away with no worries.

That's a damn good idea opening the top and putting the rags there. I never thought of that. Thanks.

Yeah, I found out the hardway the first time I used the Ragtop protector it was like trying to get vaseline of off everything that wasn't covered but as far as the product itself you can't beat it!
