i just installed mine the other day. with it down, you don't notice its there. however, without that additional turbulence in the backseat, i'm guessing it does help with the wind drag.

with it up, there was a sizable decrease in wind up even at 100mph (windows down).
maybe i'll try a top speed run with it up.

with the windstop and windows up, its like you're not even in a convertible.

for those with safety concerns, i did notice one thing. with my seats in their normal position (i keep them pretty far back and low), the bar sits just above the headrest. i imagine if i got rear ended hard enough, there is a possibility that it could be driven into (or through) my neck.

looks like it may be worth while. Just wondering, do you know where I can find a tonneau cover for an 02 vert camaro ss? Looked at slp and year one but I did not find one?

If you are looking for one like mine, the url is in my sig. It does significantly reduce wind turbulence.

Those tonneau covers like above are killer but:
the shipping cost on those is also killer and once you get them if you have to take it off you need a big area to store them in
PLUS you have to pay to get them painted which is costly too. YMMV

I bought mine used but they were expensive to ship. I store mine on the garage wall (pegboard with some hardware that slips into the seat belt openings). I think I paid $150.00 to have them painted to match the car. I agree that they are not for everyone but I sure enjoy mine. Tom

i have one for my car. i dont use it as much in the summer but in the winter it is nice that at 45 degrees i can put the top down with the heat on in a sweatshirt and be 100% comfortable. i only neeed the top boot and it will be perfect.

I personally don't like the look of it I find it looks as if you have a T Top instead of a vert.

I just ordered mine. It's gonna come in handy with the rainy season coming up.
