lol, if you mean those wind blocker things you see often on alot of luxury convertibles, I really don't think 4th gen fbody verts really need them due to the rake of our windsheilds.

I really don't get too bad of turbulence compared to ALOT of the other types of convertibles I've rode in (stang, bmw 3 series, beetle, sebring, etc...).
Hell, with the window's up and the top down you can even have a normal conversation at 100mph.

I have one and it works. The little bit of wind I got before really didn't bother me but the wife didn't want to ride because her hair would end up in a knot. Picked one up and she much happier and it doesn't look bad to boot.

Yeah man , I'm really diggin mine . Best hundred dollars spent on my convertible yet . Plus it looks killer and it drops down for that cool slick look when you want to just style around . When its down it protects everything in the back seat .

I love mine as well... took it out the other day for hauling some junk and rode down the interstate. Makes you appreicate how much they really do help.
I especially like it with the top up and the windows down. Really stops the wind from buffeting (sp?)

I like mine, but don't notice a lot of difference whether it's up or down.

It also hides stuff from prying eyes in the back seat, and keeps stuff from getting "sucked out" from the back seat.

Who makes this? I am on the fence between this and a light bar. Opinions?

Thanks! Much cheaper than the sites I found. It looks great at that price1 With my body matching top covers it should look awesome.

does this thing help eliminate a good amount of wind drag when its down?
i just want something to stop using the back seat as a spoiler, so i'd leave it installed, but laid down.

Older post but maybe worth reviving. Definitely a personal choice but I find the F-body very non-turbulent compared to other cars. My Z3 is much worse than the T/A but I don't have a wind stop for either car. I just don't want one, plus I believe the idea of top down driving is to have the 'wind in your hair' and the feeling of the open road.

i agree. i'd get one, but keep it folded down. i want one for privacy (i want to put my nitrous bottle between the rear seats again) and as an aero piece to possibly cut down on wind drag.
i hung out with another fbody convertible owner who had one and it seemed like a real solid piece except for the rattles - i'm sure i could figure out a way to kill that.

i don't like how the tonneau covers require all that additional effort for setup/takedown and storage outside of the car, so the windstop seems like the ideal choice if it works.

I dont like them and I will keep any further comments to myself but you guys could guess where I would go. To be fair I have never used one but I have never been bothered by the wind. I guess I consider it part of the experience.

I think this is good if you want to drive it in colder weather with the top down. On a sunny day in the winter, this should keep you decently warm with the windows up and heat on. When I first got a convertible ever, the desire to drive topless was overwhelming....even in cold weather and light rain. This would have been great.
