Finally installed my Koni FSD shocks on Saturday...
Install was simple and the results are awesome. I've had VB&P poly bushings in my car for about a year and a half now. They have made the car harsh to drive on the street as the roads around here are less than spectacular. Since retiring the Z06 as a HPDE car and making it a targa I'm making it a bit more tame/comfortable.
The FSDs really balanced out the polys and the car feels about like a stock Z06 again in terms of ride quality.
One thing that surprised me was how easy the front shocks were... I didn't have to do anything w/ zipties this time... I was able to compress my old bilstiens by hand and pull them out... putting the FSDs in was just as easy. I had planned on unbolting the upper A-arm this go around vs. using zipties anyway.
They're a bit pricey new, but I found a set w/ 1000 miles on them on the Corvetteforum awhile back... I've had them sitting in the garage for about a year now.

Not much new. I've got a Dewitts w/ cooler sitting the garage, a 100mm MAF and a Pfadt tranny brace to install. I'm going to change out the air intake and lay down the rad, run a 4 inch tube and a rad cowl from a turbo setup with the filter under that. What I really waiting for is the L92/LS3 FAST intake.
So let me understand:
1. You drove you car around with a black hood
2. You spend 8 months getting the car painted perfectly
3. You remove a perfectly good AND painted TS nose
And now your driving around with my old Arctic White nose on your custom yellow targa Z.
Ahh! Progress.

Grew tired of the TS nose... will take the car back in this spring to have the bumpers painted, roof panel painted, and have the whole car buffed up.
