Default Everyone needs a good burnout...

...and a good linelock to do it with.

I've installed 3 linelocks from Sean at Fastbird Performance. All of them on C5's including my vette most recently. It's an excellent kit that has every single item to do a clean install. If anyone is considering one or realizes they need one for getting a good burnout at the track, don't hesitate to get one from Sean. Super nice guy that does this on the side and helps the corvetteforum community.

Here is his site.

Here are some pics from my vette install and a little instructional video out in front of the shop.

That was a nice smokey burnout. I bet you killed like a million mesquitos that day.

Here is one I did in my old vette. I put a little more distance on it since the cloud of smoke didn't blind me like the last one.

Are line locks hard on the transmission at all? I suppose it is on the drive terrain if you launch with it. I guess I'm not sure how one exactly works.

Pretty sure it just holds your front brakes while allowing your rears to spin freely.

Line locks kick ***! I just installed mine last night on my 98 TA... took about 30 minutes to install (hardest part was finding a cool place to install switch)....push your brake flip the switch and BURN RUBBER.....I need new tires now LMFAO!
