Wait till you hear the exhaust now. It will take most of the drone away on the highway and still sound good. Should be a more enjoyable ride and definately change the way the car feels.

Hot lapping it with RTT, its been running for 40 minutes or so now strait....Thanks for doing such a great job on the car Louis !!! I am sure you will find a few more rwhp once the new 95mm tb is installed and final tweaks to the tune are made. Having you and the guys at the shop build/install/tune my new motor was well worth the wait !! Sorry if I was sounding like a whiney bitch the last couple of weeks but I was just so damn anxious to find out what the new 402 would do !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am betting final numbers will be 515 rwhp 502 rwtq with the 95 mm TB from Tracy at Rev Xtreme and some good air to dyno in. Too bad there wasn't a way to measure hp at speed considering I have the VaraRam that is a great fully functional ram air CAI that I highly recommend. It really helps the car take advantage of the cooler air from outside.
I wonder how much she'd lose with the 2 3/4 bullets that were on it originally? Oh well too late for that, she's got 3 inch exhaust from the collector to the tips !!! Can't wait to hear it !!

Actually just got back from the gym, and when I came out the parking lot was covered in ice. That was a fun ride home.

First Pull (bench tune) lots of tweaking to be done, and still need to add the Rev Xtreme 95mm TB when it arrives. 507 rwhp 500 rwtq !!!!!!!!!!!!

LS2 based aluminum 402
-2cc Mahle Pistsons
Compstar Rods
Callies crank
AFR 205 59cc heads
G6x3 cam
Ported 92mm Fast Intake (Courtesy of RON at VENGEANCE RACING)
90mm ls2 tb (Soon to be replaced by a 95mm TB from REV Xtreme)

Not exactly sure about the compression, its supposed to work out to 11.4 to 1. That's -2cc pistons, 59cc heads that had a clean up pass done to them, and .054 gm mls gaskets. As far as fuel I hope I don't need to run race fuel !! Should be quality 93 octane like a Mobil, Shell, or Amoco. No Firebird or Valero, or Quickie stop's 93 that is full of water. LOL. I'll ask to make sure. OK .
