A few more winter mods.

A few more winter mods.
I've got a few things to change/upgrade on the car. I've got a few friends coming by to help on the 24th and 25th.
1. Install Dewitts with oil cooler
2. Install ECS lower rad mount and lay the rad down
3. Replace air bridge with 4 inch polished aluminum tube
4. I've got the turbo shroud from ECS that will cover the air cleaner
5. Install PFADT tranny brace
6. Pull the heads and replace the Caddy lifters with Morel bar type
The Dewitts should take car of the car running a little hotter than I like. The change to the air intake system will hopefullly keep the car from pulling 9 Kpa's up top. I also have a 100mm PowrMaf that I may install now or wait for the FAST to come out and do that at the same time. A couple of the Caddy lifters have gotten noisy and I'd be reluctant to take the car on trips thinking they might give up the ghost so out they come.
I also have a set of Corbeau A4's in leather going in.
That's about it for the winter mods.

I'm curious what your definition of "noisey" is and if it's really an issue. I mean if I wanted to tear my engine apart for every strange noise then I'd never be running My theory... drive it until it breaks good... then it's easy to diagnose.
I have to drive up to Baltimore that Sunday for a financial analysis seminar for work... how far off of 95 are you?

I'm about 15 minutes from where you picked up the hood. 66W to 15N and you're there. Come on by.
My car was whisper quiet with no VT noise at all. Now when it warms up you can hear several making a good amount of noise... After reading a number of failure posts on the lifters and knowing Ed setup my valve train perfectly I have no confidence in them and since i use the car for trips it would be a bummer to have them go away in east bumafuck.

Can't have any VT noise in the 510 rwhp gentleman's cruiser!!
It still amazes me the power it makes for as docile as it is. People just have no idea if they haven't seen or ridden in it.
Kudo's to a well engineered setup!!

The funny thing is people are using cams 15 degrees larger to make the same or less power regardless of the setup.
