Nice low mileage car.

Congrads ...

I'm in the process of picking a C6 - we can run once you get your C5Z

My car will have a small forged 427 though...so I'll give you a head start

That LS3 11.7x time is under suspicion since I heard that guy had loaded a tune in that car the same day. Of course, on both sides, one must take into account the possible deep negative DA at the times they were run. Plus, most of the LS3'ers start modding them right away, unlike the C5zback then. Having never seen that C5Z list before, am shocked to see the times set.

Iam looking for a 02-04 Z06 head/cam car right now. I found one an 02 but it has 55,000 miles and was hoping to find a lower milage one. It has 460 rwhp and he wants 26k. Probably get it for 25k. Sure you can get them for less than that but we're also talking about a fully modded H/C Z06, not a stocker. I would expect a stock Z with that mileage to go for several thousand cheaper than that for sure.

I know those mods would add up to a pretty penny. I was thinking an 02 with 55,000 miles might go for 20-21 right now maybe. So the above car is a good deal I think.

IF you could get sport seats in the commerative 04 Z then that would be the car.
The stock 01 to 04 ZO6 seats suck, the sport seats are way more comfy. I have a C-6 and a C-5 w/ sport seats and the old sport seats are far more comfy than the new C-6 seats.
As far as the fastest I would rule the LS3 will put it down on a LS6 ZO6. Looking at track numbers is not a far assesment as most Z owners will track their car and most C-6 owners dont know where a track is.

What is a common rwhp/tq number with a 02-04 Z06 with just a cam upgrade and headers. I found one with 432/400.

I would say that's pretty common but it also depends on other mods too like if they have a 90/90 setup, type of CAI, UD pulley, etc. A cammed bolt-on Z06 depending on the cam, bolt-ons and depending on the dyno could be anywhere from 400-440 RWHP.

That's a nice ride but I still think the sweetest looking vette is a C5Z with aftermarket wheels (in my opinion). Haven't seen a bunch of C6Zs with aftermarkets though so that may change

C5Z>C6 no doubt.

The C5Z is more aggressive looking.
The pics above prove that!

I disagree.

And before you say it's just the Z06 (which is also a C6), this is the 2010 Grand Sport:

The C5Z interior looks like a F-body interior, which sucks *****. I like to feel good about driving the car once im inside, not to mention the sharper, sleeker bodylines, Bigger motor for optimal performance (once modded, cause I doubt anyone will roll around in a stock vette)

But the Grand Sport replaces the Z51 option, so it could be considered as among the base C6 category.

And you can put aftermarket wide body fenders on a base C6, too. Thus, I still must respectfully disagree.
