HAHA... You are correct....
I was at MMAA (Metro Milwaukee Auto Auction) and the car wouldn't even break.
Tried to make a deal---no deal.
He needed $39k. I wanted to pay $35k.
I feel we might've cut a deal @ $37k.
You know wholesale....
You should ALSO know this performance car in Jan. in Milwaukee WI IN THIS MARKET may be worth $45k..... (toss the black book)
Try getting it....
Do you want to floorplan it or do you need operating capital?
I'm lookin' for a hungry,starving seller...

That 07 Ron Fellows car with 90 miles will fetch 65 to 75k. min.
I have looked all over and the best dealis the salvage title from a light flood. I am paying right @40k for a 83k msrp car. I have looked at over 50 pictures and it looks perfect. If the car is not what claims I walk away with $1000 less, so what. I have wasted more than that and had no memory of it.

Ok first off a big thing to look at was it a fresh water or salt water flood? if it's saltwater, run away. Freshwater tends to be easier on the electrical systems and makes cleaning easier. If it started to have electrical issues get ALL new harnesses. Also find out what kinda flood. Was it sitting for days or was it a flash flood where it just came up quick and then dropped again. Flash floods also tend to be easier on the cars. I wouldn't pay more then $25k for a flooded Z. They may be able to get alot from some idiot but for a salvage title and FLOOD car it isn't worth it unless you get it for under half what it books out at. I almost bought a black WS6 when i bought my first Camaro and it was a flood car. You got in the seat and could see the water line
i walked away. No body damage but it needed all new harnesses and electronics. It sat for days and was a salt water flood. The tend to be hit or miss when it comes to issues with them. Some get lucky, some have nothing but headaches
P.S. Also ask how high the water came. If i didn't go above the seats/lower dash it may be ok. Once it hits the dash and cluster it tends to be alot more expensive to fix if needed

From what I am being told it barely got the interior wet. The guy that has it now told me there are absolutely no water marks anywhere. He said when they picked it up the only thing it needed was a jump start. It starts and runs like new and he tells me if we find ANYTHING wrong we are free to walk. He told me that he cant imagine the insurance co. even totaled it, but I am guessing the owner insisted to get out of it and I would have done the same. But now it will be mine @ less than 1/2 price.
I am not buying it to resale, I kept my last Vette for 8 years and my wife hated me driving it because it scared her or I would still have it.

Pics look good. Its your money, its your decision. We aren't trying to tell you what to do, just offering advice that you asked for. If your like it, I love it. Please let us know how much fun you are having after you get it. Its obvious to me that you were going to buy this car no matter what people posted. Good luck with it, and I hope its as nice as it looks.

with C6 Z06 prices as soft as they are around here (granted 2006's is what I pulled auction reports on) pulled $36,200-45000 here in orlando recently (low 45K mile 06, high 5K mile 06)
I'd rather have a car with miles, than a flood/salvage title car. Remember factory warranty is done on a branded title vehicle, so that basically means you could go to a 2006 and be in the same boat, without water being a factor.
Good luck, that is a beautiful car.

yeah looks great. I would at least look at it. Check everything very closely. if you can pull the fuse box covers, look for any sign of corrosion. i mean go thru it with a fine tooth comb. Put it on a lift also if you can
. LOVE jetstream blue. If you put the $1000 down and go see it and want to walk away you get the $1k back? if so, might as well go look. Then all your out is the plane tickets or if possibly a C6 Z at a GREAT price

You DID sell it. Eventually. They ALL go... Sooner or later...
You will have one helluva time offin' this when you're done with it.
PLEASE listen to the guy sayin' mileage and an older car is better than a "branded" (I like that) car!!!!

The link went away as soon as we settled on a deal, that was weird. But it is leget.
If I get a ZO6 I want an 08 or newer because of the stronger tranny. I have broken several in my C-5 and they say the 08's up will handle 750 hp.
I have searched for 2 days and still the buy price is lower than any Z I have found reguardless of year, at least with simular options. This is a fully loaded car 83+MSRP
