No it is out of state but I only pay $1000 now and the rest when we drive it. My wife wants to fly out and pick it up. But yes the guys says the owner was driving it. Says it is absolutely like new.

I don't know man. I saw some very nice BMW's that a friend bought from the Katrina carnage. He was able to make 2 good ones out the 3 he bought. All kinds of mysterious things wrong once he started tearing into them.

I bought a truck when I was 16 because it looked sweet, little did I know that it had some serious problems that didn't show up until I did an oil change. He must've filled her up with slick 50 to hide the knock the motor had. I was bummed out and had no money to fix it. Sometimes you learn the hard way.
I do hope the car is everything the seller says it is, and that you are happy with it. Good luck

Don't do it to yourself, I'm a car dealer and everytime I've had to deal with a salvage car its nothing but a headache. Sometimes it doesn't happen right away but it always happens. Keep in mind a car is considered salvage by the insurance company when the repair to the car is more than 80% of its wholsale value.

another thing is the car salvage or rebuilt? in CT and i know a few other states, all salvage means is that the car was totalled and still needs to be state inspected to get a rebuilt title. also, when you go to sell, good luck but your going to be lucky to get half of what the car should be worth.

I have read all there is on the car and the seller and can find nothing wrong. The seller has lots of transactions on e-bay all good.
The car was in a very light flood. they charged the battery because it had set out a few weeks and drove it to their dealership. There it was washed and the picture look like it is a new car. It has not been in a wreck just a light flood.

If I were buying it, and the car drove okay and looked good... The very first time I had an electrical problem I think I'd replace the entire wiring harness.
My aunt's Mercedes got flooded but they dried it and it was okay, I was surprised. I guess I'd just worry about the wiring inside the car, the engine stuff has the weather proof connectors.

Just FYI....
No lenders I have been in contact with will loan on a "Salvage" or "Rebuilt" title..
In January I passed on a CLEAN TITLE
2007 5000 mi. Black Z-o6 WITH zero issues for $37000.
I was willing to go $35k.
THESE CARS ARE SOFT!!!!!
I'll find one.... I'm either going to buy a Z or a G8--- whichever I can find a better deal on...
Remember this.... the scar will ALWAYS be with the car, the potential buyer will have difficulties securing funds through an institution, will be a bottom feeder lookin' to rip it, potential gremlins and, lastly, collectability on this particular car will ALWAYS BE ZERO.
Like buying a Honda.... spend a little more up front and get it back when you re-sell it. (You get peace of mind while owning it that it a good car)
GOOD LUCK!
