I am running 285/335's in the NT05's. The hook with these things is phenomenal. $1,250 out the door at Discount Tire. They should have fits for your C6. Go to this link for sizing: http://www.nittotire.com/#index%2Etire%2Ent05%2Esizes

Looks good, but I'll never get a 335 on the stock C6 rim, the next size down is 275.
The original tire for the rear is 285, so i'll stretch it a little, loose some contact area in the center of the tire, but not as bad as if I went with the Invo's and bulged the tires out to the 305's

They arent exsactly the stock width but its better to stretch them then make them buldge honestly.

Are you running the NT05's? How are they working for you on the street?

You can find Hoosiers between $350 and $425 per tire right now.
I'm finding it a bit odd that you have thousands under the hood but are being cheap on a tire with enough grip? Imagine what it could cost you if you go end around on the highway because your tires break loose at 100mph.

$1600? You don't run them on all 4 rims.

First, I didn't mod the car, I just bought it a few weeks ago, and I got a hell of a good deal
And the power is very linear, so really the only time I'm loosing traction is 1st through 3rd pushing on it hard, I can feel when to let off with the current tires
But again, street car, I don't need road race tires (R888s)
Also Hoosiers are "not to be used on highway" according to Hoosier's website

If they can make it several very hard laps around a closed course then they'll make it up and down the highway.
I also like the Nitto Invo which would be my second choice.

Should I go with
Invo's upfront
NT05 275's rear
or
Invo's upfront
R888s 305 rears
or
Invo's upfront
Hoosier R6's rears (forget the size)
AND would the Invo's be a good tire upfront, or will something work better if I go with R compound
remember, cheap and street car lol

Speak for yourself.![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
I got them as a set and decided to give it a shot, I'm not recommending it, although the handling is pretty good.
OP, at your power level tires become a safety issue. I would also say there isn't any single thing you can change that will impact the car as much as tires.
I have run R compound tires for years and think it's the way to go. The only ones I have experiance with in 19in are the Hoosiers, and I would buy them again. I believe some of the other options will last longer, but they don't come in the size I need.

I would run either of the above setups at whatever is cheaper since that's your goal.

555RII's are what I run on my C5 and they put all of the 730whp to the ground at the road course.
you might look into getting a different set of rims so you can run 18" rims for the rear, just wider then what you have in the front. then you can to a 295/30/18 in the front and like a 335/30/18 in the rear.

if concerned about $$ try this guy for a source for used roadrace tires...I was pricing the Z06 size for a road race tire and he has sets sometimes $200-$300 then prob $20 per tire shipping...If you dont like them, you havent lost much

I live in northern ohio, so the car will only be out in the spring/summer/fall
So with the change of temps, I'm wondering if I should just stick to an Invo if the R compounds require heat.
Yesterday on the street I was pulling in 3rd and at around 95mph she started to feel like she was going to break loose, so I let off. But I'm at the wear indicators on my GY's
