X or H pipe???/
X or H pipe???/ Looking for slightly more aggressive tone a few extra ponies, going with a Z06 exhaust. Which sounds the best and offers the biggest gain, an h or x pipe and what brand.
H pipes sound a little better typically but X pipes flow better. You shouldnt be getting exhaust gas inside at all unless your joints are leaking and the windows are down.

H here. Sounds really freaking bad ***, it makes my -4 overlap cam actually sound as lopy as much bigger cams, and its not too obnoxious while cruising. I dont think your going to loose much between an X and an H, and in my opinion H sounds way better!
In all honesty duals are primarily a mod made for sound, if you only going for power it would be much cheaper to go with a setup like pat g did on hos 500rwhp TA (y pipe).
