got my specs today.

226/230 598/600 113lsa+4

i told pat that i did not want a max power cam install. I wanted a cam that would have a good powerband for the street. i am going to install a underdrive pulley with the cam. what do you all think?

What kind of power are you hoping for? I'd guess with that spec, you'd be putting down about 390-400 tuned.

Absolutely! I have LG LT 1 3/4 headers with 2.5'' x-pipe with stock ti's and a vararam with regular tune and put down 387whp 381tq. And mine is a 2001. He is at 390 easy

Wow! Ok. I didn't expect such a big increase from exhaust. I won't be using the Vararam, but I was thinking about the honker.

The only thing that scares me about the Vararam was that I read a few people got hydrolock from it.

the car is at just over 390rwhp now with the exhaust/vararam kit. i was hoping 410-420 with the cam/pulley. more worried about midrange than peak.

I am doing a cam next month in my 02 z06 specs are 231/235 .617/.621 114+2 with all the other bolt ons should make 420-430. Cammed c5 z06's can put down some pretty good numbers!
