That's easy to do. Just come to ATCO and it magically happens.

I know you guys earn it,the track and air is good but the cars dont drive themselves. And since the NA cars up here typically run high 12s,there are VERY few 10sec street cars running around out this way. Thats OK too,I am,however jealous of the 1.5x 60s that seem to be more common out your way, track prep, driver prep or ???? The C6 Auto, posted above,is cutting low 1.5s with stock 2.56 gears(well and a drag pack) NEVER happens around here ! NICE job, they must have your car dialed in,props to Cartek !

Track prep at a rental is always very good, sometimes too good where some people break parts. Our prep on street nights or elimination racing can vary from non-existent to fairly decent. I agree that it's a function of track prep, car prep, and driver especially with our manual trannies. On a well prepped track, I was fortunate enough to run mid 1.4x sixties with my Bolt-On C5Z. We are hoping for a little better with the C6Z.

Thanks!

Yes, track prep was the best I've ever seen. I'm from the Buffalo area and made a trip down to Atco for a privite rental. So far the best 60ft I've cut up here is a 1.58, but my track elevation is 915ft above sea level.

Da,temp, barometric pressure, humidity, and elevation plays a large roll in times. But, just because you have great air doesn't mean you will go faster...With great air comes an adjustment for the driver due to making more power because of that great air, driver plays a big role when it comes to traction regaurdless of auto or manual(Manuals are alot harder).

Most guys run some type of skinny tire upfront....I've seen the video's of the best bolt ons cars, and most, if not all have some sort of skinny front tires/rims. Rotating mass is a big deal when it comes to trying to squeeze every .10 out.

No, but we think that is possible with the new car. Only time will tell.

On motor, or motor and your 175 shot ?

If that pass was on motor I am overwhelmed.

The pass was on nitrous. The ZEX direct port is crank rated...it's more like a 150 shoot than a 175 shoot.

I was going to say if that was on motor then holy $hit !! Still a bad *** run though. I'll be in contact when I can officially go to Milan. I am truly just hoping for a decent 60 (1.85-1.99 LOL, that is good for me considering my best was 2.11 !!) and 3 clean shifts. After I've made a few passes on the Michelins, I will pull them and throw the DRs on. I know the Nittos aren't much better but its all I have at this time, and I intend to run them until they aren't any good.

What do you suggest for my next set ??

Just let me know when your ready for that trip to Milan so that we can hook up.

I run BFG DR's 315 30 18 while on the street...not for top end usage. My drag racing tires are Hoosier DR's 275 40 17 and are not for highway or prolonged street usage, but they do the trick at the track.

I got your cell Dave and will let you know. I should be picking up a helmet from Rosenau pretty soon too. Decent DOT Full Face, it will do the trick. Nothing fancy.
