The Lambo's, Ferrari's, Aston Martin's, Bugatti's are symbols of wealth that very few can afford.
While they are wonderful cars, they are not worth the $$$$'s unless you were super wealthy. How embarassed they would be pulling up to a corvette that cost hundreds of thousand dollars less than their cars and they got smoked.
Great videos none the less showing how well the vette held it's own. I wish they would have put some non-run flats on the vette to even up the traction some.

All I got to say is that ZR-1 is a damn beast! start at .55 in the second video. You can totally hear the lambo on it and that Zr-1 damn near goes right past him.
That lambo is a beautiful car, but the Zr-1 is simply amazing.
I agree with blownvette, this car needs some pilot sport cups. Gm really needs to get rid of the run crap tires on there high performance cars.

Both cars are very nice but one is fairly easy to work on and cheap. The other you have to pay an arm and a leg to do so. I think if the ZR1 would have had just a pulley swap it would have walked all over the Lambo.

I am more then confident that a simple Diablosport predator tune would make that car a beastly nightmare for the lambo driver.
That car, with a tune, and no torque management,...would be brutal.
Then,,... you'd really need some RA1's or something sticky.

Most of my friends would say, **** that lambo.
I'd buy a Lambo or any other exotic if I could afford it. No doubt but,...nothing is a Corvette. No other vehicle on the planet does what it does for the money. Just cause your rich,...doesn't mean you have to be stupid. Which, you'd think the majority of exotic supercar buyers would read some info on some of these vipers, vettes, fbodies and cobras that crush there exotics soo easily, it's not even funny. You'd think they'd know to buy someting else instead of asting 400,000 dollars. ***** crazy. But,...like stated a million times over,...these cars typically, are only about image,...a sign of prestige to some people. Like a big stupid giant chain around someones neck. Hey,...look at me. Can't tell you how funny it is to see these guys faces when they're getting walked. Only met one cool lambo owner on the road.
Only until recent last years are we finally getting some truly fast exotics out, which is awesome. Then again......turbos, making anything fast.

How many Lambos do you see around. I can definatly say that I have NEVER seen one outside of a carshow in person.

yes but the lambo will get you 3-4 times the poon, AND 3-4 times better quality i'm sure. while the ZR1 is the baddest of the bad when it comes to the corvettes, it's STILL a corvette that looks ALOT like a regular base C6.

Yes they do have them. Here is the info so you know now. The Zr1 needs some actual tires like the pilot sport cups, then we will see how much better the car is.

It's not better than the Murciélago SV per se; it would be ridiculous to make a judgment as simplistic as that about cars as complex as this. But in some ways the ZR1 is more of a winner than the Lambo, because it provides the bigger surprise. Not that you'd be anything other than very happy indeed with either of them tucked up in your garage – assuming you've got the guts and the bank account to match.
