The front end of the Z looks like it's coming up a little bit more than would be idea for aerodynamics/racing... wonder what it needs to keep the nose planted a little more?

I hate how the ***** in the ZR1 keeps talking about how great the Lambo is. That's pointless. Put the ZR1 out front and see if the Lambo can keep up with it. Same result, I'm sure. Then, make a vid and say, "Wow! Look! The Murcielago can actually keep up with the ZR1! Isn't that amazing? This Murcielago is a really great car for being Italian made and all."

That's not to say the Lambo isn't slightly a faster car in this arena. And, it's certainly not to say I wouldn't take the Lambo over the Vette, because there's no way in Hell that would be the case.

The reason? When I was, like, 5 years old, my favorite car by far was the Countach. I've never lost the lust and I'm 28.

To me it looked like every time they would kinda get on any kinda of straight the Vette would catch up hard.

The lambo is also about 3-4 times as expensive so for the money I'd go w/ the ZR1.

Gorgeous car. Alot going on with it,...for example, everytime i'd get out of that thing i'd be like,.."hi,..hello,...I am the batman"

Dope,... yes.

I think that, even though all he was really talking about was the lambo,..I think the video shows off the vette very well. I think, if it had a wider track, he would have driven around the italian art. I used to be a big fan of Lamborghini's as well,...I still am but, that time I raced one when my car was cam only, and beat a Diablo,...I felt I crushed a giant,...killed the unicorn so to speak. Since then, i've killed seven or soo mythical beasts. I'd take the lambo too..... then i'd sell it, buy a ZR1, and buy a house and an escalade tow vehicle to cart around the white devil.

Hell yes. Even the last footage of the video, you can see the vette had to brake early as it was creeping on the bat on roids.

I was afraid for that carbon chin spoiler but,..looks like it's pretty durable. Gotta love a factory built supercar.

Really want one of those things.

That's where the lighter weight less drive train loss Vette will shine big time

VERY boyracer looking. Very much a look at me car. I love the look of the lamborghini's ....but this one seems a TAD cluttered. I think it would look better in all carbon fiber instead of yellow but,...thats just me.

The Lambo's, Ferrari's, Aston Martin's, Bugatti's are symbols of wealth that very few can afford.

While they are wonderful cars, they are not worth the $$$$'s unless you were super wealthy. How embarassed they would be pulling up to a corvette that cost hundreds of thousand dollars less than their cars and they got smoked.

Great videos none the less showing how well the vette held it's own. I wish they would have put some non-run flats on the vette to even up the traction some.

All I got to say is that ZR-1 is a damn beast! start at .55 in the second video. You can totally hear the lambo on it and that Zr-1 damn near goes right past him.
That lambo is a beautiful car, but the Zr-1 is simply amazing.
I agree with blownvette, this car needs some pilot sport cups. Gm really needs to get rid of the run crap tires on there high performance cars.
