zr1 quarter mile

Couple things to add:
Z06's that run 10's stock have great drivers and are in the negative DA track conditions. Hardly the norm.... locally I have seen 11.5x range at 124-126 mph in NC.
ZR1's dyno in the 520-540 rwhp range stock and don't have the best gearing. My maggie A6 put down 500 / 540 to the wheels and ran an 11.0 w/ a 1.7 on DR's. With better conditions, DA, and great driver that is a 10 second car easy.

Lingenfelter made 739 with upper and lower pulley, intercooler upgrades and tuning. I also believe this was on race gas.

He said he can. He went easy on the car because it is not his.

ZR1s put down some good numbers in stock form but they also fight the additional 250 pounds over the Z06. I was hoping they'd pick up the additional HP over the Z06 and retain the same weight. Oh well, can't have everything.

A fully loaded zr1 only weighs about 250 lbs more than a bare bones '06 z06. Equally optioned, equal year cars are only about 140 pounds apart.
