Took it to the track not long after the motor was put in i only ran twice, but i was running on some wore out 275 KDW's. So traction was a real issue, that and i still have the stock 10 bolt. Trying to keep from spinning so much i babied it out the hole and had like a 2.4-2.6 60ft. Even with that it still ran like 11.9 at 119. I only ran twice due to the rear trying to hop all down the track, and me not have cash to buy a 9" rear and the car was my DD as well. I did run a C6Z once from a 35 mph roll both starting in 2nd, we quit about 120. I had more that half a car on it and was pulling away. I dont get to drive the car much anymore due to the 10 bolt wineing and howling like a beaten dog, hopefully I can replace it soon.

I knew it was just a matter of time once I got the 402. And yes the Z was stock, i am pretty sure if we would have started in first i would have pulled it more.

Hah!
"All Motor C5" where did you dig this one up from?
Engaging your intellects in light of your insightful and honest rebutals with in between the lines webs of stuff is all the more fun.
And besides acting as a "public service warning" this post is the most fun this way to me and that again is ultimately supposed to be the objective .
"It seems to be and I really hope its been good for you too!!"

Come on you can do better then that!
Sorry guys, but, reading this thing over with my control over its content has your uninformative additions looking like a train wreak!
Thanks for bringing up the C6Z!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven't ever played with a C6Z although I am sure I would have my work cut out for me 0-60, but the freeway would be all mine!
Again using GM's design calibrations as the "Holy Grail"!
The C6Z (on the ZR1's tires with light mods and heavier sway bars to combat the snap oversteer) is a kick *** platform. Don't build the LS7 power too much though I've heard it can't take it, and again adding traction/driveability issues! If the C6Z was lightly modded the ZR1 would then have nothing on it off the line, for sure.
1stgearC5z(55mph*420rwt)/46mph=502(relativetoC6z420rwt)
(505rwt w/the STD gears? you don't have to reply, I understand!)
2ndgearC5z(85mph*420rwt)/66mph=541(relativetoC6z420rwt)
3rdgearC5z(112mph*420rwt)/96mph=495(relativetoC6z420rwt)
Synopsis:
These numbers essentially reflect the traction of a C6 Z06 with 4.10 gearing (505rwt/545rwhp). On the street with the feet to the ground he wins!
My relative numbers on low boost are something like 503rwt/521rwhp, but, turbo's have midrange torque that these numbers don't indicate, but, that midrange torque is not positive when traction is a issue.
Anyway, I have to say the 505rwt/543rwt NA is a better senerio at street speeds .
On the highway my formulated working around the gearing is straight forward and a easy place for me to play with, only the most likely, stock exotics and the ZR1, if at all!
