I have the LS7 clutch with LS2 flywheel in my 01 Z/28 and the Monster Stage II in my C5 Z06. The setup LS7 clutch package from SDPC is a great deal, however if you have plans for more power in the near future, you are better off with something else. I like the monster, however, it is a very grabby clutch. You will have more chatter than with the LS7 or LS6 clutch. In regards to the shocks, I would like to find some 04 Z06 shocks, those were the best ones out of the C5Z years. Since you already have them, why change? I have heard of guys using the C6Z shocks, but I am on the fence. The C6 is a little heavier, has bigger wheels and brakes, so they were really tuned for that car.

that monster sounds good but i daily drive my c5z so i wnt something i can drive good in traffic and that does not make a lot of noise i only plan on bolt ons for now till i get a c6z so would the ls7 clutch be good for a daily driver? and is there any problems with the install?......i asked about the shocks because i plan on putting new ones in but dnt kno what to put in because my c5z sits about 1.00" lower on the passenger rear side than from the driver rear side what do u think the problem might be cuz my bro has a c5z2004 same year and it sits perfectly even so thats why i wanna swap out shocks thinking it would solve the problem what do you think?

In regards to your ride height issue, that could also be your front or rear spring. Check and make sure the bolts/nuts are adjusted to the same level on all 4 corners. FWIW, I daily drive the Z06 and the Monster clutch chatter is no longer much of an issue, it is well broken in now and I made some adjustments in my driving/clutch pedal engagement.

thanks man..... so is that means that my shocks may not have to be replaced ..... ill try to get under the car to adjust them in my garage or on some ramps.... also i was looking into that monster clutch you have in your c5z but you said u have the level 2 monster is it heavier than the stock and would you recomend the monster level 3 instead of the level 2 ? also did yo have any problems on instal on the monster level 2.. and is it working fine any down sides about it?................and what d you mean by more chatter and grabby does it make more noise ?

i would highly recommend you choose the monster clutch level 3.I had a spec3plus which was brutal for daily driving however i put a monster level4 and couldn't believe how soft the pedal was and perfect for daily driving.

do it right the first time, get a ram twin disk.
Pedal is just like stock, and is great for daily driving. Will hold more than enough power when you do the h/c/i package on it. There was some chatter on break in but it went away.

chatter isn't bad and none at all in reverse.this may sound crazy to you but every since I put that Monster clutch in my car I haven't been able to stop driving my car.I installed the clutch friday and already have close to 200 miles on the clutch all stop and go and it feels stock at the pedal thats a trip but a little chatter in first gear and that to is just about gone.Monday I'm taking my car to LMR to have my patroit heads installed clutch should respond well to extra hp with no problem.

sense you plan to go with H/C you better opt for the stage3...or else you chance goin back in there for another clutch down the road. Thats why most will opt for the better clutch to hold the power for the future mods.
