Default What will my new z06 be capable of?

i recently purchased a z06 here locally. the deal was too good to pass up. it has stock differential, and stock gears. the mods are

fresh LS2 shortblock,
L92 heads
LS3 intake
Pat G cam 17* overlap
ARH 1 7/8 headers with 3" catless x-pipe
Corsa catback
Monster stage 4 clutch
chromoly flywheel
Callaway Honker

Engine has less than 2000 miles and it made 475 RWHP

my question is, with the proper traction what will this be car capable of mph and E.T. ? do you guys suggest of put 373-390's or keep the stock gears?

i would love to be knocking on 130mph trap speed! 130 is good for some 10.40-10.50's with a low 1.50 60'

Considering the M12's ratios I would leave the 3.42s alone. You've got plenty of power to pull the gear, shortening them with an m12 is just going to mean more shifting while redlining at slower speeds and even less traction (than you have now) in lower gears.

Enjoy what you have.

480 rwhp and a 390 gear netted me a 10.66 @ 129+, sixty foot was a 1.47

Those are some good et's and mph guys. I notice my torque is low for the amount of power it makes. Will the low amount torque hurt me at the track?

I'd say you're a low to mid 11 second car. The graph has only 350 rwtq off the line. The peak numbers look good though. You really need to hook to get into the low 11's. You're looking at 120-125mph trap. Sticky tires and quick shifts.

Just my opinion, I'd love to say 9's.

i hope its in the 10's with a 1.5-1.6 60' or else ill be down grading from what i had. my 99 camaro only made 420rwhp thru a yank PT4000 and ran 11.08 @121 with a 1.48 60'. im hoping to be in the high 120's and later on this year i will cnc port the heads and throw a fast lsxr if its worth the money and possibly be trapping right at 130 and mid 10's with about 520-535rwhp

Just looking at your graph compared to a stock C6 ZO6 graph, I think the cars should be pretty comparable with ET's and mph.

Thx, I was too stupid to spot the graph...lol. Looked right over the damn thing.

With my stock bottom end 346, I added cam\heads (stock 342 gear) I ran 11.33 @ 124. RWHP was 434\400 tq. It's really hard to say where you will be but low-low elevens should be in the bag !

By the way, my torque curve is almost a perfect match to yours on my 383 stroker motor. It held around 365 till around 3800 rpm then started to climb fast.
