the performance differences are worth giving up the cooler looking(IMO) rear hatch of the base coupe.

I just sold my TA and went to a 02 Z06. I could not be happier. I will miss my TA because of the time that I put into it, but I will have plenty of time in Z06 before it is over.
Also one more thing to consider is that if you have color preference. Only year White was made is 01. It was replaced by Electron Blue in 02 (which is the color I was looking for). I think most of the other important issues have already been mentioned.

Damn tasilver you have the Z I am looking for lol. I want a EB Z with chrome wheels. I'd like to find one with mod red interior but might be harder to find for a good price. How long did it take you to find the EB. Oh sorry to highjack the thread.

Thinking about putting the WS6 for sale soon, summer's here (at last!) so hopefully I can get good money for it from one of the car shows.
Been too busy lately with college assignments, exams, new jobs (!) to have time to put it up for sale, I'm in no rush to sell, but a Z06 I'm sure is in my not too distant future
I'll post pics when I'm OTR in the Z06, it'll likely be a while though... Looking for a QS, 02 +, ZO6 with aftermarket headers and less than 70k miles for around $22 k.
The Z06 power to weight ratio of 7.7 LB/HP compared to the WS6 10.2 LB/HP really helped make up my mind. With a little weight reduction and some extra hp the Vette will be a monster on UK roads, and I'll add a 125 shot of N2O for the strip!
Looked into the UK Z's a bit more, and we guesstimate 70 ish in the UK
