The ZR1 hasn't been roped off at ANY of the auto-shows I've been to. That, IMHO, isn't a big deal.

But the woman has no respect for other people's property, that's for sure. Regardless of how much the Vette was worth, you don't let your kids climb all over someone else's ****.

I think it will hold it's value a little longer than most people think. The C4 ZR1s held their value for a LONG time.

... Although, the ones they use at these autoshows are going to be discounted big time. lol

^^Nah I doubt it. The C6z will hold it's value, The Zr1 one will drop to probably 75k Like above you said. Why pay 125k When you can get something will 150 less hp for 40k. ****, for sure I wouldn't, But I do love the ZR1's more than the Z06, Don't take me wrong.

Sad parenting these days! But I have seen plenty of C6Z from 28k-39k with around 50,000 miles on them all 06's.

At the detroit auto show it was the same thing, ZR1 just locked unroped. They had the cts-v racecar on a turn-table tho :p

That mother's a piece of **** for letting her kids do that for sure, but ultimately it's just a GM publicity car, and they know that by letting people come right up to it, it's going to get scratched and dented. It's not right, but it's going to happen and they are prepared to absorb the cost for the sake of publicity.

I remember at a recent auto show here in Richmond they had I think a brand new Grand Sport open for people to sit in it... great for publicity, but by the end of the night you can be sure that interior's going to be trashed.

Now what I HATE to see is when kids are out of control at car shows, climbing all over classic cars with their nasty greasy hands, and the parents don't give a flying ****.

Lol I was in the Chrysler section and as some of you may know, Chrysler bought the italian company Fiat. Well I was looking at the new Abarth 500 SS, awesome little car, I'd love to have one, open the door and what do i see on the floor but a whole can of pringles spread all over it....Seriously?

I like em better too just not 50k+ more than the z06...Especially when you get more cubes with the z (For us big cube guys ) I hope they do drop...But im not seeing any 09's falling to far below 100k that are of course low miles....I would definately pay 75k for one tho for sure...I would die to add one to my collection...Just toooooo damn espensive

I dont why 50% of the people in Philly go to things they arent interested in.
Car shows with women who obviously have no interest in cars.
Old ladys at horror movies - and then they walk out and say it sucked.

People must be really ******* bored anymore.

Haha I wonder that all the time. I actually just talked to one of the dumbest people 5 minutes ago she worked at detailing shop as the receptionist and did not even know any of the detailer names there. And she worked there for a month already.

its possible that they have the zr1 unroped so you can look inside. i mean i allready seen 4 cts-v on the lot and not 1 zr1. so if you really want to look at a cts-v go to a dealer.but want to see a zr1 go to a car show. jmo

Lady with her kids: typical. Sickening. I was taught to never lean on cars, put hands on all over them, everything under the sun. My future kid/s will learn the same.

About it not being roped off: WTF? Just WTF.
