Yes, there have been lots of BAD C5s. But not from the factory. It takes truly tasteless people with amazing talent for destructive "additions" to a car to make a C5 bad. But those people apparently exist and unfortunately there are a lot of them.

The coupe has a higher top speed, because of the rear glass. The FRC's are more rare, and usually have less options. No FRC's came with sport seats, power passenger seats, or 2 tone interiors. If I'm not mistaken FRC's didn't have HUD's either (Might be FRC vs Z06 difference). They should also have a cooler interior and not have leaks like a removable top can.

I put a HUD in my FRC. The FRC/Z06 has that bubble top "jet fighter" look. Her big sexy *** is her after burner, and your strapped into the **** pit along for the ride! "I'm not tailgating. I'm flying low" FRC/Z06 FTW!!!
I love my 99FRC. Who says the trunk isnt big enough? The other day I was too far from home to get the truck and I hauled a whole CBR600 motor in the trunk with the header on it and all.
It weighed 3180 with a half tank of gas and it has 19s and 20in crays on it. Its so much fun in stock form that I havnt even touched it besides a "cold air" , tune, and its lowered on stock bolts.
I'd take either one, theres not a bad C5...

The FRC/Z06 is the only model for me. Something about that trunk gives it an almost "exotic" look, especially when the ride height is hammered. I get more compliments in this car than anything else I've owned...

Might take a stab at modding the bottom of the Spectrewerks bumper to accept a Breathless Performance C6Z diffuser, too. We'll see! Have to practice chopping up a stock bumper first. LOL

The American Exotic! I feel the FRC is an American Muscle car with an Exotic twist! I've always loved the Ferrari and Lambo looks and to me the FRC has that exotic look. Centered cockpit like a fighter. Just looks soooo much more "race car" to me. Compare the 2 side by side and make your mind. I love a removable roof as well and almost did it to my FRC and may still one day. To me ( love all Vettes!) the coupes look like a Turtle with the big hatch glass.
