There are so many ways, supercharge it, or do a cam change, it depends what you really want to do with the car.

A cold air intake, the right camshaft, headers, and have it tuned correctly. However, to take advantage of the new power you should use change to an aftermarket torque converter and possibly a rear gear change.

You read? He wanted an auto.

A nice cam with full exhaust and a tune should get you there.

The rated power isn't rwhp, remember that.

gears and stall first see how it feels to you . it will be a nice kick in the butt. after if you feel the need for additional power the lt's cam, and a good cold air intake should take you there. would recommend headers be done if possible when stall and gears are done it would be a lot easier.

Our V2 cam for the LS3 will work with the factory stall and it along with the addition of headers, CAI and tune will gain over 75hp at the crank. We actually have a cam install special going on this month, feel free to call me for pricing. Chris, 817-750-2000

Impossible

Even tunes are busting warranties these days. Gotta pay to play

You can get very close to rwhp dyno numbers without a cam. Intake, headers, udp and a tune is right at 430-435 rwhp. Add a converter and you will be able to take a Z06 in 1/4 et. But like has been said you will void your warranty.

A blower is the easiest smog legal way. And you'll make more than 505HP. You'll probably make about 550-575RWHP on the safest possible tune.

Definitely a good way to make a lot of power but maybe an over kill for what he asked. He asked for 505 like a Z06 which indicates to me he may want his engine and tranny to have a little more safety factor. Superchargers can be somewhat troublesome if you don't really know what you are doing particularly on an engine that was not designed for supercharging.

Yeah, that's true. But still... An 09 6L80 should hold up on a small blower.

I agree, a small amount of boost that will put him right at 505 fwhp and assuming done right all will be well. Maybe the easiest way to go although a little more pricy.

I hope that's a typo. FWHP would be funny on a Corvette.
