3.5' Downpipe going to STOCK TI EXHAUST for now.
Percision WG
Tial BOV.

Aeromotive fuel pressuer.

Cooling:
Dewitt Radiator.
Hypertech thermostat.
stock water pump.
also waiting for the dewitt bigger fans..

and some suspention/brakes/show parts here and there

couple of pics

on 10psi made 598rwhp 549rwtq SAE with very safe 10:7 A/F Ratio, 15timing.
91octane, 98F whether Running heavy 360Forged 19×12 in the back...

The car spools extremley fast on the street and drives awesome I'll post some dyno/street vids very soon (needs some better tires though) ..

Waiting for the boost controller to arriver then we'll turn it to 14-16psi.

Even though I wanted 600-630rwhp on 10psi I'm still very happy with the numbers with the safe tune , whether and stock catback...

Do you guys think it's possible to get 700-750rwhp on 14-16psi??
Hopefully we'll find out in the next two weeks..

Let me know what you guys think?

Sam

The math is pretty simple as far as break horse power. The crude number is that you'd get about 100% your N/A power for every 1 bar (~14.5PSI) of boost. You'd need about 830 BHP to make 700 RWHP. So your motor would in theory have to make 415 BHP without boost to make 830 BHP at 14.5 PSI.

So, yes, I'd say you should be able to hit your goal with about 15-16 PSI.

That sounds about right. I think you'll hit your goal around 15 PSI.

I'm a little iffy about the 15% loss rule with a manual transmission when it comes to Corvettes. I think even though Corvettes have IRS, the loss is closer to 13%. Either way, your 440 BHP sounds about right and you'll probably see about 840-870 BHP at 1 bar.

You're not on 241 heads, are you? Your car should have come with 243s since it's a Z06.

I agree I always thought the Vette IRS have 12-13% loss.
I sold my 243 heads long long time ago I had MTI 317 III Heads but I also sold them looking for aftermarket casting heads

Thanks.

Gotcha. I must have misunderstood and thought you may have had 241s.

OK, yeah, get yourself a set of AFRs or something. They're money but they're good. (Especially ported)

Not a fan of the interior of the C5 but the exterior is to die for. Nice numbers and vette even if it is school bus yellow.

I talked to Tony@AFR and that's what I'm going with very soon..
Gotta save up though when I heard the price I was but I also was when Tony told me the estimated power gians..

Yeah. It's hard to beat the numbers you get from AFR vs. the power gains from just porting stock heads.
