Stock 09 ZR1? 1.524 60ft- 10.260@135.35mph :-)
Well the rumors are true. I made a solo run to MIR this morning. Last minute decision at 12am last night. I went down due to the air was great and wanted to get another run in before the mods start going on. I made 2 total runs partially due to they werent showing 60fts so I didnt know if it was a good 60ft or not to run out the run
Well run number 20minutes after driving 3hours there. Aired the rear tires down to 17psi cool. Launch 5000+rpms. Car also had all my tools in the car cause I had no one to put them with Maybe 20lbs but its something LOL! Car also had just over 1/4tank of gas I like to have 1/8 or less on my best runs
60ft-1.548
330ft-4.346
1/8mi-6.671
1/8mph-106.37
1000ft-8.664
1/4mi-10.345
1/4mph-134.30
Clutch hazed pretty good so I changed the clutch fluid, let the car sit cause it was pretty warm for the drive down. I went back up to the line for my 2nd run and ended up being the last
60ft-1.524
330ft-4.313
1/8mi-6.613
1/8mph-107.45
1000ft-8.591
1/4mi-10.260
1/4mph-135.35

A couple notes about the day run/car. I do not have side skirts still due to receiving 2 sets of flawed side skirts. The car has the clutch spring removed from the clutch pedal so the clutch is stiffer. I took the plastic shroud that sits around the supercharger off and put it in the back of the car. I also ate a Reeses pieces this morning with a Diet Dr.Pepper before racing. No other food was used for these runs partially cause I'm fat
Other notes: This was definitely not a optimal run. The shifts werent spot on, the launch was damn good but small room for improvement, the head wind doesnt help, the car having more fuel and tools in the car is minimul but its something when you are looking for every .01's. Other bummer is since I went to the track by myself I only have my gopro video and the pics of the car and slips. I also was hugged by 2 men after this run. One of them had a KB blue Mustang GT. We were all stoked and man hugs are important to have IMO. After this run I felt no need to fine tune the rest of the run. My wife had foot surgery yesterday so I sped home to be typing here with her

I'm trying to figure that out myself to the 9's. Lowest cost would be nice BUT easiest mods could be interesting aswell.
So what would everyone want to see?
Stock engine, drag radials just about everything with weight removed (passenger seat, sway bar off, skinnies up front, 100octane gas to get rid of KR, no washer fluid, floor mats, owners manual) run 9.99's.
Stock engine, Drag radials with tune, 93octane to assure no KR, sway bar off, no washer fluid, floor mats, owners manual run 9.99's with full size front runners.
Stock engine, drag radials, tune, pulley, 93 octane 9.99's
Stock engine, drag radials, tune, cold air, 93octane 9.99's
Whats more impressive. The front skinnies would be the most expensive mod at around $2000.
Tune only $450.00 estimate, weight reduction free
Tune $450.00, pulleys $250, more labor intensive possibly. free minor weight reduction.
Tune $450.00, cold air $600, probably easier labor, free minor weight reduction

Launching!

Id like to see what the sway bar would do. I know it can have a pretty good impact on a 12 sec vehicle but I know its harder to gain that 10th or two once you get were you are. I say go "Stock engine, drag radials just about everything with weight removed (passenger seat, sway bar off, skinnies up front, 100octane gas to get rid of KR, no washer fluid, floor mats, owners manual)"
EDIT: Actually Id like to see what the PS2 would do but I think Kyle was looking into that. How much of a wieght saving would the skinnies do for you? I would say get some E/T streets or something but I dont think any of those tires would fit over the rotors..... I say keep it as stock as you can first. Go with the wieght savings and no more reeces and Dr Pepper!!! They make you bloated!!

It is sort of a waste of time though as it is SO MUCH more difficult to get the car down the track on factory/stock tires and could even cause unnecessary breakage (or worse )...but I would really like to see a 'pure bone stock' 10.5 second pass (Kyle has gone 10.6) out of a C6 ZR1 and I think Bruce might be able to make it happen.

Great run. Launch and shifting looked pretty spot on from here.
I THINK keeping it full weight(like you would drive it) and just a tune/cold air would be the most impressive!
