Until you drive a heads/cam Z06.

I had a 2006 Coupe for a couple of years (traded my 2003 Z06 for it). They're still very nice and very capable cars. But holy crap, this C6Z is an animal. I'm at over 550 rwhp, which may not seem like much relatively speaking, but when it's in a car that weighs less than 3200 pounds with a factory 50/50 weight distribution and 7200 RPM rev limit, it will scare the crap out of you real quick with how fast it accelerates. 60MPH in first gear. Over 100 MPH before you get out of second gear. And with the aerodynamics of the Vette, you're still pulling strong at even 160+ MPH (don't ask how I know ).

Just don't drive one and you'll be fine. That was my mistake. Test drove the one I own now at Corvettes of Houston when all I was after was an exhaust system for my Coupe. I couldn't sign the papers fast enough.

Very true. The sheer performance of the LS7 with the engineering that went into the C6 Z06 is mind boggling, and its a 6 year old car now.

Well I went with my dads c6 and all I can say is wow. I've driven a c6z with headers exhaust and a tune and it didn't pull as hard this car and as for my h/c the Corvette is by far a nicer car, handles better and is just better all the way around. Cant wait to see what that nice blue bottle does when I fill it up and hit it
