Ok so Im looking around for C5's want to know what I can expect trying to see if I can get one for 10k and found one and want to know what I should look up and what are potentially some of the common problems with C5's??

Looks like a pretty good deal. First thing I'd do is optima battery. Or anything gel cell. Ebcm is somewhat common but is an easy $100 fix. Tires can be pricey. Rear end has been known to seep a little . 6 speeds don't like being power shifted. Oil pressure sending unit is common but easy $40 fix. Balancer is kinda common for wobbling and making belt squeak. Nothing that should really scare you though

That one is not bad at all based on the description. There's a forum member on Corvetteforum named vettemanjack; he has some useful documents on shopping around for C5's. Good luck

i saw it in person it was good but had too many small details and im really picky just found another one in phoenix going to post a video of it so you guys can tell me your opinion its a 6 speed red 99,


question they told me the the 01 are the best year to buy, and was wondering what are good prices for C5 and how about c5 zo6?
