Default C5 with forged/H/C LS7 or keep turbo WS6?

Keep my 800 whp turbo ls3 t.a with m6 and 10 bolt and build the rear eventually or part it out and buy a c5 to put a 7.0 in.

Found a killer deal on a hurt LS7 I could build on for a nasty n.a C5

For a reliable street car that is usually roll raced and driven daily in summer what would be a cooler toy? I would like a Vette owners perspective even though I know the Trans Am is faster I always liked C5s and wondered if the change would be worth the power downgrade. Kind of sketchy having that much power in an Fbody also lol

The LS7 is one bad bitch. IMO if you can swing it, I'd go with the H/C LS7 over the Trans Am. It won't be quite as fast but it can easily be made faster down the line. An LS7 making 550 rwhp in a C5 would be a nasty roll race car.

C5 with HC LS7 would be ****...

C5 and Fbody is apples to oranges. Drive both, see which one you like better, and imagine the C5 with the LS7 in it. I imagine it would be an absolute beast from a roll with 7k+ rpms, etc.

Why not a turbocharged C5?

Fbody TA...one of my all time favorite cars...ranking up with mclaren F1's and ****..... I would take a C5 over any F body 9 times outta 10. Totally different animals.

I had a TT f-body that made 750 on low boost and over 1000 on high boost. I'd much rather drive my c6 that I have now with a built 440 ls7 than the f-body. I know a c5 with a ls7 would be awesome!

I just made the switch from H/C/I WS6 to a bone stock C5Z. I couldn't be happier. The C5Z is a better car in every way. I do miss the WS6 though.

How much is buying a c5 + forging the ls7 and the swapping it all in going to cost? I ask because I'm getting a c6z with a hke forged nitrous motor (400 shot) with pretty much everything done to it for 42k.

If you take the time and search around for a bit you can find a nicely built c6z for a really good deal.

I have a sc c5z making 600RW, but have been wanting a fast N/A car for awhile.

Do the C5 with big NA motor
550 rwhp NA C5's can take out lots of 700 rwhp turbo cars

my c5z makes 536whp with a built 402. I say High Hp NA vette for the win. Sounds Nasty runs hard, over 1 year basically maintenance free. Tuff to beat.

Here's some vids to sway you to the vette side!
