It is a real issue, but your statement is true.

Brian Reckart (RPT) is a good friend of mine and he does head swaps for ZO6's nearly every week. He has caught a couple customers cars just short of the big ka-boom. Some of the swaps were just a performance upgrade and didn't "need" to be done, but he has seen a couple completely wrecked LS7's and like I said, caught a couple that were close to dropping valves.

My 2012 was built 11/11 and allegedly the issue was fixed 2/11, so I'm not sweating it. (Warranty also helps

)

To the OP, congrats on the new ride! Looks awesome!

I did the 4th gen Camaro thing for a loooong time and still have a couple for the drag strip, but I am so happy I traded in a Camaro and got into my ZO6 last year.
