Default New owner of my first Z06 saying hello

Hey guys already a member of this board, just purchased my first Corvette today. 2010 Z06. previous car was a heads/cam Z28.
I know there will be up's and down's with this car as any, the Z06 is the ****.
Sorry if I am on a new owner Z06 high right now due to putting a Ferrari F430 in its place tonight.

Congrats on getting into a vette. Make sure to post pictures. Throw a set of heads on it or take care of the valve issue soon if you haven't already.

I used to tell new C6Z06 owners the same thing about the issues some have had with their Z06's.

Then I realized that it really is only a small percentage of cars having these issues and that corvette forum is making the issue far greater than it really is.

FWIW local guy took in his working-fine low-mileage c6z06 and it had abnormal wear. 2012 would be under warranty though so it's probably not a big deal until it expires.

Can't help it cause i'm a proactive type of person plus I don't leave anything stock so it would have had a cam and heads within the first two months (i.e. my blower and other upgrades lol).

Oh don't get me wrong, I feel exactly what you're saying.
There is an issue there no doubt. I'm just saying it's not as rampant as CF seems to make it lol
I'm the same way, it wouldn't stay stock!

Seems like every local here who's had his heads checked have shown wear. It's a real issue and needs to be fixed if u don't have warranty or want to mod the car.

It is talked about way too much on cf but it's a 100% real issue
