On the push-lock adapters, I've had some hold up for years of abuse and some leak for no apparent reason. Per Murphy's Law, the low risk connections hold up longer than higher risk connections. Fun stuff leaking fuel in the engine bay waiting in a drive through then attempting the repair in the same parking lot.
I've since converted to using push-lock adapters only far away from ignition sources and easy to access for replacement. AN fittings and compression fittings are what I use for engine bay (assuming high performance application) fuel supply.
