Default Z06 Exhaust

I have a 2004 C5 Stock and well I was going to see if the Z06 exhaust sounds good on the LS1 and does anybody have sound clips?

I love the way it sounds just not very loud looking forward to getting headers and no cats.

The stock sound is beautiful it sounds like a true sports car just its kinda quiet

If you want loud, try Borlas. Corsa Indys are also a very good choice for WOT loud but quiet at cruise.

X-pipes are also a good idea when installing a new exhaust.

Welcome, I'm not sure the extra compression and slightly bigger cam make that much of a difference in sound?

I dont think there's much of a difference between the two.

To hear just about every setup try LS1 Sounds

I put the Z06 exhaust on my FRC, ran a DE at Gingerman with 8 or 9 Z06's and everyone thought mine was a Z06 also. They sounded the same. Good way to lose weight.
