Ive got a Hurst... Felt a little wierd for a couple of days... Cant imagine driving without it now though. I love it. (not that its important, but after lookin at pics of my interior from before, it looks 10x better too)

I put in the Hurst and then removed it a few weeks later. Didn't like the additional effort and it rattled to beat the band. Since then, I know several people who have had problems with the transmission and I suspect it is the result of the short throw shifter and the lack of the rubber bushing. I "think" the rubber bushing might have been put there by GM to soften the throws on the transmission internals. I have since picked up a used stock shifter and plan to shorten it about 1/2".

I've got the Breathless Performance shifter. The shifts feel nice, but the shifter buzzes at WOT.
I sure wish someone would make a shifter with short, precise, and solid-feeling throws, that doesn't buzz and vibrate, and doesn't require extraordinary effort to use.
Is that too much to ask?

i have the b&M and have noticed quite abit harder shift feel. it may just be the one i got or the guy installed it wrong but, I had to build up the muscle in my arm to shift it. i mean it was tough. anyone else have a "noticably harder" shift?
