Default Z06 Half Shaft Question

Well as some of you know a certain someone I know had a z06 failure a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe it is just something that stuck in my head but doesn't the z06 have beefed up half shafts. Even if it does or doesn't how many of you have heard about these cars breaking half shafts. I have not heard of any, atleast at the near stock level.

I broke a CV joint once but I tend to think it was a defect due the fact that I am pushing more power then ever with no issues.

i seen them break on stock 6 speed cars with drag radials on them because of the wheel hop is very hard on them...belive it or not e.t. streets are easier on the driveline than drag radials are...
