exhaust mod?

has anybody done this exhaust mod? http://www.corvettegarage.com/produc...products_id=75 , I want to try it out cause my car's still bone stock right now, I'll be makin my own though, and I want to see what the times are w/ the exhaust mod and ziptie mod w/k&n on 16"DR's, I'm hopin for 12.xx's, if anybody has heard a C5 with this please chime in and let us know if it sounds dumb or not, thanks

IMHO, you'd be better off with electric cut-outs. This way you have more control with the noise factor. Besides, by looking at the PIC I' don't understand how that much hp can be gained, whereas with the cut-outs, it is my understanding, located before the Cats does equal a little bit of hp gain. Plus, I don't see how this mod would pass emissions inspection with the opening clearly before the mufflers. May I suggest doing a search here & CF for Threads on cut-outs for a better explanation, since I don't personally have that set-up.
