busted c6 tranny
Best friend's parents got their c6 a week or so ago. I didn't even have a chance to go see it before the tranny blew. Needless to say they were not pleased at all.
His mother was driving it so there was no abuse. 52 miles on it, was an automatic. The dealer said "the bolts on the transmission were not tightened from the factory." Kinda makes me wonder...

get over it, anyone that buys a new car of a new generation or just a new car altogether will assume risks of being the hamster when buying the car. its known, like an unwritten law. they will have there fluks but i am sure GM will fix it with a zipper closed over there mouths and only open it to say "we're deeply sorry!"
its one car out of how many?? this becomes a recall issue......well then i will take back this post, but one of how many of these new breds??? chime if you have problems with your C6.
