Enjoy that beast. Yeah, i believe Lloyd was the technician who put together my MTI 427 C5R motor on my pewter 98 C5 vert. Maybe he can chime in here and confirm that!!

I have never had anything but a pleasant experience with MTI.

I installed my G1 this past weekend. Still doing the fine-tuning, but I expect numbers very similar to yours. My car idles exactly the way I wanted it to. I'll post here after my tuning is complete and I get the car dyno'd.

The G1 and the stealth are on two different sides of the playing field. What do you want to do with the car?
I understand that you get ALOT of email questions especially from tire kickers so I ain't mad at you but really didn't help my decision This is what I have gathered so far on the two:
Stealth II is a much smaller cam that will provide great results for a "stealthy" car. Now I can give a rats *** about the stealthy part. I am all for bigger cams when I bought the Z06 I intended to put a G5X-3 in it. But I really enjoy the Z06 stock, in a perfect world I would make it behave the same just move both curves up a notch.
G1 isn't really that big either and with tuning I'm guessing will idle perfect and drive perfect. But how is going to feel downlow, am I going to need more than my 2:97 1st gear and 3:42 rear ratio? Does it provide an advantage on the street to the MTI Stealth II? I only race a few times a year.
Both cams in cam only setups are not that far in peak numbers considering different setups and different cars are going to respond differently. I just would like to see what those curves are and compare it the 232/230 cam I was running in the WS6 which was lacking torque IMHO...
While I have A rep from MTI's ear what do you think of Cam only and tuning as a first mod vs Headers? A cam setup is about 700 bucks all said and done headers are 1400, seems to me that the cam is a better "bang for the buck" when considering the stock vette system is not that restrictive compared to a stock F-body. Of course this is just looking at friends numbers and making assumptions on designs thats why I'm trying to ask the experts

Thanks for reading this and am difinately looking forward to some results (dynos) especially with the good deals you have going on right now.
