cams help
thanks
MTI is also running a sale on cams this month. Here's a link to their website. MTI website I am using their C2 cam which is 224-581-112. You might need to go smaller with your stock converter. MTI will hook you up, give them a call. You might want to add an underdrive pulley during the cam install also.

If you've no intentions of changing your converter (something I think should be done well before a cam swap if your goal is to go faster), than the LPE GT2-3 would be a much better choice. FWIW, I had, up until very recently, a custom grind GT2-3 clone in my A4 car and with the usual bolt-ons made ~380 rwhp with it so this cam shouldn't be underestimated.
P.S.- Notice these suggestions are coming from M6 guys.

Only reason I recommend a 114 LSA is on account of your emissions tests. I agree with X-Trooper on the converter. Just bought a Yank 3200 and have been told by LPE and many members here a swap will be the best thing I can do for an A4 car. I have read of 4-5 tenths gains in E.T. in the 1/4 mile. This mod alone would put you deep into the 12 second bracket second bracket, with virtually no loss of drivability. My converter was about $900.00 from Yank and is a lockup of course. I have 3.15 gears and totally stock with bolt ons I ran a best of 12.89@ 109.97 at Ubly Mi..
I see no reason you can't crack the 11 second mark with a swap like this. FWIW. what did you pay for your 224/224 cam? I am thinkin' about upgrading mine....
