Default Performance difference in slp vs Corsa??

Cat backs??? My car is not loud enough. I dont want to lose any power from switching. I cant complain about my exhaust now but I want it to scream even louder.

Anybody have good solid information???

SLP's=Obnoxious
Corsa=Motorboat Sound
My choice would definately be GHL's!

I was wondering if there was any way to make the Corsa scream even louder, because I love the sound and have it on my vette aswell. Maybe remove the cats or get headers or something?

Sorry for semi-hyjacking the thread, crypt keeper.

Adding headers would definatly add a different tone, dunno about pulling the cats.

But as per dyno runs, SLPs advertised #s seem to be really good, but I just cant stand how they sound personally. Im w/ Green Goblin, GHLs scream no matter what. IMO, they're by far the deepest sounding LS1 exhaust out.

Here is my issue with deepness. I dont want that Mustang type drone at 2300 rpms. Now the corsa does not do it at a constant but when accelerating it does do it a little bit. I have heard the Borla stinger on a z06 with full exhaust and it had the consistant annoying drone. Now does GHL have that same tone as the borla or is it like the corsa with the building up to then drops after 2500 rpms.

baldurann - no harm.

I have Corsa Indy's with high flow cats and Kooks 1 7/8" headers. Never liked the indy's when I had blower and stock cubes. They sound great now that I have 447 n/a with high flow cats and Kooks. Not bad at all driving around town but they do scream at WOT!!! Have video clip but nowhere to host.

I have the Corsa Indy's with LT's and no cats. Sounds great to me. And I can hear my radio fine at cruise RPM and no resonance. At full throttle it just screams.

Your not going to notice any difference in performance from one after market exhaust to the other. Purly for sound and looks.

I have a loudmouth system if you want to try one out... It is not bad with the x-pipe, without the x-pipe it pops quite a bit, but with one it is just loud. I am asking $275 shipped or best offer, and depends on what brand of Corsa you have... I just sold the Corsa pace car system for $500
