Re: Cam install pics? Those pictures might scare you on a C5 install haha. The entire front steering assembly must be dropped to access the crank pulley bolt and remove the pulley. What fun!
But, the valvesprings are much easier to install on a 'Vette compared to an F-body.

I've got a pretty good idea of what to do but I like looking at pictures. I'm definately going to order a helms manual before I start.

In case anyone else is interested, that article has some good info. There are some inaccuracys, like 24 ft/lbs where it should be 240 ft/lbs.

Re: Cam install pics? 66ImpalaLT1 and Agave, I cut and pasted that link 66ImpalaLT1 posted into a chronlogical word document. Now, all we need is to make a chart of all the correct torque specs needed and of all the tools, supplies (gaskets, locktite, Sharpies), etc that will be need to finish the job properly and efficiently. I can send ya'll the word document if ya'll wanna see it. Thanks.
