Advertising. I stumbled on this site by accident. Advertising by vendors would likely help. I agree with 97C5ENVY in that it can be a hassle to keep up with several different sites.

I understand the sentiment that a lot of C5 folks are perhaps not the knowledgeable DIYer. I (optimistically?) believe that there are such folks out there, just fewer of them than opinionated noisy ones

Excellent!!!

Could it also be that we C5 owners spent extra $$ up front? And we have to wait a while before funds become available to start adding on extras?
Thats basicly my situation.

Hi, just got on the site...I think you guys really have a great site. Had a 99 SS and learned alot from ls1.com. I now have a 01 ZO6, hope to learn more...no mods except intake...just purchased the car acouple of months ago. Had the car on a Road Track three times so far and the car is just awesome!!! Very well balanced from the factory. Yet I'm still looking for mods.

This is my first day on this site, but I hope to be here much more. Also, being one of the originators of the "Corvette Challenge" at Englishtown, NJ, I will let other guys know of your site.

By the way, why don't you have a red C5 coupe as one of the "Graemlins" ?

Lots of us Mod our Vettes with more than bolt ons (see my sig: big block coming). We just didn't know about this site until it was mentioned on the corvette forum. In essence, we need to get the word out-on line, perhaps from the venders, etc. Sure would be nice to have an enlarged enthusiast community that knows something about mods and their successes and failures.

I was just kidding around. I grew up in Austin, then spent 17 yrs in Houston before I moved out here to the Peoples Republic.
I really do miss those Texas highways.

I saw Ernest's post on corvetteforum about this site so I decided to check it out.

I would say that most C5 owners aren't
performance oriented.

Then there are those like Ernest, Walker, Jon Paul and myself who are close to addiction.

How to increase traffic here? One word - sex. Actually not ****, just text keywords like sexy (vette), girls (owning vettes), nasty (rattle), etc.

Pictures of models adorning various corvette models (C'x') or motors (LS1, LS6) in the borders could help too.

Oooh, that's nice. Hopefully we don't offend anyone here.

I found a 'better picture' on the web, but it's inappropriate to post it here. It involves a C5 convertible, and the handbrake...
