I've joined the C5 registry club www.c5registry.com and with this membership you can get a 10% discount from a lot of venders.
You might want to check this out as well.
Congrats on the purchase, you are going to love modding and driving this car.
A friend of mine just picked up a used '02 Millenium Yellow Z06 (900 miles!) for $44K, that is a hell of a deal. Where are you at Steve?

I think you'll be very happy with your latest purchase. I've had this car for 4 months and it still gets better every time I drive it. After you decide on an intake system you should check into a Hurst shifter. It makes a fun car even more enjoyable.

Get this K&N Conical filter and cut a hole underneath it in the shroudn. It's the RE 2090 (I think). It is the 9" long filter
with a 3-1/2" opening wich fits pre-2001 models. A guy on the CF did this and got gains that are comparable and if not better than some other cold air versions for $40!!!
If I had to do over again I would do this.
I'll get a pic for you so you can see what it looks like.
Also, as far as exhausts go, you will hardly witness any gains with the cat back systems, 5-7HP usually is the max. Since you're an F-body guy, you know about the flowtech cutouts. You could get two and put them behind the cats in the int. pipe and put some nice tips on and save some good money while you're at it!
Are you bummed that it is not an automatic?
I look forward to seeing it.
They are awesome cars.

Tony I should've kept the 30TH..Tried 2 years to get into the 10's..Looking for Pro Stock to get that number Nothing like starting over again..LOL
Headers and intake should make your car tons faster. Enjoy the Z06.
Intake depends on what you are looking for. They all pretty much have the same gains. Some look much better than others but cost more.
SLP just came out with long tubes that will work awesome. TPIS LT's are pretty decent also.
