Default Need Exhaust Help

Hey guys I just bought a Borla Muffler system for the FRC, now i need help on the rest of the system.

I was thinking TPIS headers, but what X pipe do I go with? Do I need a 3" setup if its a heads cam car with gas? Anyone have any ideas or opinions?!?!? I'm trying to find some used exhaust stuff but its just not working

Its the one with 2 mufflers just like any other catback, I dont know what system I bought it second hand It looks like a street system not the XR1. It has 4 tips.

I asked about the Borla to make sure its not an XR-1, if you had that you wouldnt need an x-pipe.

I wish someone would make a bolt on offroad X-pipe for TPIS headers that put the X where the cats are and run all the way to the flange for the catback. TPIS headers are good for the money. I too wouldnt mind a set if I could get a deal on them used. If you need cats random tech has an x-pipe available that works with the TPIS headers and has bullet cats.

FLP's headers come with everything to bolt them on, including an x-pipe, but they're more expensive than TPIS.

Last but definately not least is LG Motorsports headers. They are probably the best for you with heads/cam and spray.

Yeah I agree on the no cats stuff! So I cant run TPIS headers into a Corsa X Pipe? I need cats?!?!?! Cats suck!! I might have to buy FLP's, they're just so expensive

i vote for the LG's. i saw em and they are NICE! EXPENSIIIIIVE. but NICE. go with TPIS headers, a 3" Dr. Gas universal x-pipe, and some custom work to get it back to the Borla catback. that should be perfect for H/C/N2O

Yeah, you need custom work to hook up the TPIS headers to any of the X-pipes. I'd prefer to have the X-pipe where the cats are anyway.

I'd be interested in FLP's if I could get them for around $1100 without cats.

If you like the TPIS you might have a look at the RK Sports... They use a conventional flange at the collector.
