Default c5 gears

how can i tell if i have a 273 or 315 gear what are the code numbers and were can i find them i ran at the track and ran a best 1337 @ 105 if i do have a 273 what is the best et i can run bone stock

On the early C5s 97-98 look at the passenger side storage compartment lid, if you see G92 you have 3.15s if you don't see it you have 2.73s. On the later models you will find the build codes on the door of the glove box G92=3.15, if you don't see it you have 2.73s.

GU2 is the code for the 2.73's...i know cuz i have them...

You can also tell by checking the rear end itself. On the passenger side (I think), the rear end will have a roughly 1" x 2" metal tag on it that says Getrag and then the rear end ratio.
