Z51 Magnesium rims Im having a hard time finding info on these. i know they are 17in in front and 18in in the rear but how wide are they? I thought they were 9.5in but someone said that the fronts are 8.5in and wont fit 275s. any help is appreciated.

The fronts are 8.5 and the rear are 9.5. They are around, but way overpriced. You might try Bobs house of wheels. Look on Corvetteforum.com. He posts all the time.

Depending on the tire they work fine.
Here is the only current shot I have of my 275/40/17 Nitto 555 street tires on the 8.5 " rim. Work fine on the street and this pic is a 1.91 60'

I have had a some of those tires (GY GS-D3) on for about a year now..a pretty good tire..I had some Yokohama AVS Sports that I liked better...they had good grip and they wear a lot better than the GY..they cost more but you always get what you pay for..especially in tires.. ..neither one was worth a crap on the dragstrip but no street tires are...
